Orla Brady is to appear on Richard & Judy’s show on UK TV today at 2pm to be interviewed about the new series of ‘Mistresses’ on BBC1 but also to talk about being ‘the lady in red’ in Vettriano’s painting, ‘The Singing Butler’.
Painter Jack Vettriano has donated one of his works Just Another Day – a portrait of a woman with Battersea Power Station in the background, which will go under the hammer as part of a drive to raise £100,000 for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. Other artists who have given pieces to the auction include Royal Academicians Ken Howard, Mick Rooney and Eileen Cooper.
